Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures. To support production & manufacturing activities, so that it will complies with establishes quality control specifications and standards. To facilitate maintenance,repair or replacement of damaged equipment. Also involves overseeing the selection and procurement of manufacturing raw materials. Regularly conduct negotiation with contractor,suppliers,and vendor to ensure a fair bargain for goods and services. To implement action plans to ensure a cost-effective and high quality production.Liaise with other departmental head such as the QA manager and packaging supervision to ensure finished products are of the best qualities. Ensure all manufacturing and production personnel comply with the set health and safety policies when carrying out job duties. Motivate a manufacturing team to achieve set objectives and target by setting up rewards for an achievement.
