Product originally developed in Australia by Pitstock Pty Ltd in 1952. In 1963, Boustead Engineering Malaysia got the licensee to manufacture and distribute in Asia.
In 1994, Howden Group acquired Boustead Engineering Fan Div, and from James Howden (M) SDN.BHD. based in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. April 2002, Phoenix Blower Engineering acquire from James Howden (M) SDN.BHD, the present range of centrifugal fans.
April 2006, PHOENIX BLOWER has changed the name to PHOENIX INDUSTRIES SDN.BHD. 2013, PHOENIX FANS (M) SDN.BHD. acquired from PMT PHOENIX INDUSTRIES SDN.BHD under license by PT AGRINDO (INDONESIA).
