UI Group started off with its first company, United Industries Sdn. Bhd. being incorporated in year 1973 in Malaysia as a manufacturer of motor vehicles' exhaust system.
Subsequently, UI Group had further expanding its business by incorporating United Vehicles Industries Sdn. Bhd. and United Sanoh Industries Sdn. Bhd. to manufacture other automotive related component parts. Today, UI Group has grown to be one of the main metal fuel tank and brake and fuel tubing suppliers in Malaysia. The Group has attained various awards and recognitions from the OEMs and it is also accredited with ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, EMS 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification.
