Complements existing functions already established in the organisation in respect to general accounting function, which includes inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, balance sheet management (excluding inventory related items). Accountable for ensuring that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected. Serves as the Go To resource for all financial reporting and MFRS compliance questions inclusive of developing the necessary training program for continuous development program of Finance team members across the Group. Provides technical accounting GAAP guidance and support to all company entities. At times, this may include involvement in due diligence and other activities surrounding acquisitions/dispositions. Responsible for proper timing and application of revenue recognition rules. This may entails a real-time review of each key revenue stream and its terms for changes needed and determination of proper timing of revenue recognition under the requirement of MFRS 15. Involves due interaction with Sales and Customer Service groups. Ensures that company financial records, under responsibility, are maintained in compliance with company policies, CA 2016 and MFRS. Responsible for reviewing monthly/quarterly account reconciliations and other documents to ensure this compliance. Leads the preparation of audited Financial Statements of the Company and provide the necessary training and support to build up and ensure sufficient competency in this area amongst subsidiaries in the Group. Ensures that company financial reports are prepared in compliance with policies and Bursa Malaysia reporting requirements. Supervises the completion of tax reporting requirements (including income, property, sales and use, payroll and other local taxes) and preparation of deferred taxation calculation across Company Group. Also, assists Corporate Tax, Treasury and Risk departments with dealing with related issues and meeting reporting requirements. Ensures that the computer and information reporting systems continue to operate as required. Involved in development of new financial systems and validating/designing suggested changes to existing ones to ensure accounting requirements continue to be met. Coordinates work relating to both internal and external audits in the periodic review of the company financial records. Is further responsible for the implementation of agreed upon recommendations, related to areas of responsibility, resulting from the audit findings. Being the main liaison for the Group in managing the external Auditors and their audit plan and program for the Group. Ensures that the accounting department is staffed with qualified financial personnel capable of meeting the objectives and responsibilities, noted above. Responsible for continued development of these associates.

Manage the global tax calendar and oversee the timely submission of all tax related filings, in Malaysia and global operations Oversee the Malaysian GAAP consolidated income tax provision for the Malaysian parent and group of subsidiaries as well as foreign operations and investments and ensuring that the companies' tax provisions and balance sheet tax accounts are properly stated. This includes assessment on the need to hire local or regional supervising accounting firms. Supervising the tax accounting provision process and reporting for the company and Group's operations, including reporting of uncertain tax positions and ensuring optimal tax cash flows whilst minimising tax recoverability issues. Optimising the Group’s tax planning by exhausting all opportunities in terms of tax incentives available Oversee preparation and Filing of all Local global Tax Compliance Obligations Oversee preparation of Indirect tax i.e. Withholding Tax, SST and other foreign taxes. Manage the company's transfer pricing policy and maintain required transfer pricing documentation. Manage, assess and ensure full compliance to Country by Country Reporting for the entire Group Rethink the firm's legal structure to match our business needs; oversee related corporate governance requirements Monitor and provide analysis of legislative, budgetary and regulatory developments. Evaluate potential impact of tax legislation on the company and recommend the proper course of action. Help identify, evaluate, and advise management on the income tax consequences of current and proposed strategic transactions. Oversee tax function transformation for the Group, in particular to address robotics process automation as well as digitalisation of the economy hence the related tax issues arising Manage all tax audits, as needed. Liaising and maintaining the necessary professional rapport and relationship with the relevant Government authorities and agencies in safeguarding the interest of the Group.

To carry out applications development and support, encompassing the entire systems development life cycle including system analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, etc. Assist in project management and liaise with users, vendors, etc. Provide user support and training.  

Design the Analog circuit in power management products. Design includes low & high voltage CMOS circuit, SPICE simulation, IC design and evaluation. Perform system level and block level IC design activities including circuit architecture definition, circuit design, schematic capture, circuit and sub-system simulation, chip floor-planning, and layout planning. Create clear documentation of design and product development activities to ensure high quality designs and to support dissemination of important design information to cross-functional teams Expect to do measurement on IC in the lab, conducts experimental test and evaluates results.

Lead and perform key analysis to identify, define and promote (new) strategic initiatives to support growth and optimize cost structures & productivity. Evaluate all possible options, linkages, risks, benefits and impact across the key areas. Initiate, drive and lead collaborations among Company Groups team on specific projects as assigned from the management. Drive and manage business performance through the development of periodic cadence, including business and operational planning and review. Analyze and present insights on enhancement and proposal of new model for businesses. Facilitate cross divisional discussions, trade-offs, negotiations or agreements so that decisions are made or action plans are executed, in line with the main objectives and strategic direction of the Group. Perform market and industry review and assessment to support the strategic and financial investment plan, as well as business development initiatives. Assess impact to Company Group’s financial results, strategy and regulatory matters and suggest appropriate action plans. Lead an effective commercial and actionable business decision on rationalization/restructuring of existing Business Units/Subsidiaries and/or new investment opportunities to support value added/business growth/efficiency within Company Group. Lead the team in evaluation of potential inorganic (M&A) opportunities which may have strategic fit within the Group. Lead the team in managing the execution of all initiatives related to financial advisory and business development activities such as valuation, deal structuring and negotiation; including close liaison with financial advisers, auditors and solicitors (where relevant). Lead the team in ensuring proper post-deal integration of any inorganic exercise to ensure proper ownership and operations of acquired target within the Group to realize synergies.
