Full time Accounting Banking Finance Retail Strategy-Planning

Job Description

  • Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions including financial reporting, financial planning, budgetary controls. 
  • Develop, improve and monitor internal control policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Timely month-end closing and preparation of management reports and comprehensive analysis of financial results.
  • Manage working capital and cash flow through effective management of receivables, inventories, creditors and capital expenditures.
  • Timely preparation of budget, cash flow projections, forecasts and business plan.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties which include tax agents, external auditors, lawyers, bankers, insurance companies and relevant government authorities for approval and compliance.
  • Undertake adhoc duties or special projects assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Must possess at least a recognised degree and/or professional qualification in accounting (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • At least 8 years relevant working experience with minimum 4 years in the property investment / retails industry.
  • Technically strong in accounting standards and system, internal control and taxation.
  • Must hands-on working experience in computerised accounting systems (IFCA) and MS Office.
  • A team player with high level of integrity, meticulous and proven analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Mature, self-motivated and able to work independently with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Start work immediately.
