Legal Internship with Conversion Vacancies

This is for a Legal Internship role with assessment period at Raslan Loong, Shen & Eow in Subang Jaya involves day-to-day legal tasks under the guidance of experienced lawyers. This is an on-site position where you will gain practical legal training and exposure in various areas of law.

Conversion from internship to chambering position is available subject to assessment period for shortlisted candidates only (Limited spaces available).

What We Are Looking For

+ Students or Graduates with a minimum 2.1 or 3.4 CGPA & above.
+ Final year and CLP grad students are encouraged to apply.
+ Able to travel and commute to the firm’s office.
+ Able to work independently and in a team.
+ Chinese literacy is preferred (i.e. Converse, Read or Both).
+ Good command in English is required (i.e. Oral and Written)
+ To keep confidential all information acquired by candidates during their internship/training.
+ To adhere with the directions of the Partners of the firm.
+ To observe all applicable rules and etiquette applicable to lawyers in the firm.
+ Resourceful and able to think outside the box.
+ Strong research and analytical skills.
+ Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
+ Eager to learn and develop practical legal skills.
+ Progressive work and training.
+ In-house training and presentation to clients as part of professional development (when required).

What you will be exposed to

Areas of training includes Intellectual Property Rights (both local and foreign), Data Protection, Franchising/Licensing, Enforcement actions, APOs, General Litigation, Commercial/Corporate Agreements, Construction, Arbitration and Content Creators/Social Media Influencer/Celebrity advisory and others.
