Job Description

  1. Overall responsible in handling full spectrum of financial and accounting functions, initiate internal control operating procedure to improve management reporting and to support the analysis of financial performance;
  2. Supervise financial activities including timely preparation of full sets of accounts, efficient and effective operation of company cash flows and good internal control;
  3. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary and regulatory bodies to ensure the accounting standard is compliance to the audit, taxation and other statutory requirements;
  4. Monitor the treasury functions such as monitoring of daily cash balances, bank reconciliation and verification of interest rates and charges;
  5. Supervise tasks on accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensure payments are being issued on time, ensure all purchases and sales invoice accuracy and recorded on a timely basis;
  6. Oversee the financial record maintenance and daily operations of the Finance Department;
  7. Responsible in GST posting setup, report and submission;
  8. To check and reconcile on inter-company transactions.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidate must posses at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent;
  2. Required skill(s): Bookkeeping, Account Receivable, Account Payable, General Accounting, Geneal Ledger, Tax;
  3. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English and/or Chinese;
  4. Minimum 2 years experience in the related field is required for this position.
  5. Able to start immediately.
