Job Description

Women of Will, a non-Governmental, Non-Profit organization, invites applications for the position of Junior Project Coordinator for a start date in March 2017.

The terms of employment will be in accordance with the Women of Will Terms and Conditions of Employment. Employment will be offered with a monthly salary of RM1,500. Continued employment is subject to successful completion of a 6 month probation period.

During the first 6 – 12 months, there will be a need to work during weekends and the candidate will be compensated with 3 days off during the week.

Women of Will offers a package that includes annual and medical days, EPF & SOCSO benefits.

JOB Description:

This is a staff position to assist the Project Coordinators to implement Community Development Projects for disadvantaged communities in Malaysia.

Tasks and Functions:

The key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  1. Liaising with partner organizations to identify beneficiaries of a project.
  2. Preparation of relevant documents.
  3. All communication to relevant parties on progress of project.
  4. Coordinate with trainers, facilitators and beneficiaries on training program.
  5. Maintain records of all Project beneficiaries
  6. Assist the Project Coordinators, where necessary.

Job Requirements

Selection Criteria:

  • Malaysian Citizen of 21 years & above.
  • SPM with 2 Credits (min) or STPM.
  • Proficient in spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Must possess own transport with a valid driving license
  • Good interpersonal skills and high sensitivity dealing with disadvantaged communities. 
  • Good team player, able to manage time and prioritize tasks and duties and deliver assigned tasks in a timely manner. 
  • Computer literacy will be an advantage.
