Job Description

Our client is an European multinational company is a global leader in the manufacturing of engineered precision products used in conveyor, material handling and factory automation systems in Malaysia. They are currently looking for the right candidate to fill the following position to support its Thai sales team.

 

INTERNAL SALES SUPPORT COORDINATOR  (Thai Speaking)

(Based in Shah Alam, Selangor)

 

Responsibilities

Internal Sales Support

  • Handle telephone enquiries from customers and action promptly
  • Maintain a day book to record and manage the processing of enquiries, orders and quotation follow up
  • Provide high level of administration and sales support to Sales staff and customers, including stores duties from time to time.
  • Submit request from factories through enquiry system
  • Prepare quotations for customers
  • Update quotation status on the system
  • Key in orders and email order acknowledgments to customers
  • Prepare PO to factories for the customers’ orders
  • Work closely with factories to monitor delivery status of orders
  • Handle shipment of goods to customers
  • Ensure goods are accurately deliver to customers – quality and quantity of goods are checked.
  • Provide sales administration support including regularly reviewing outstanding orders report, outstanding purchase orders report, expedite and source stock for back orders and notify customers of delivery status
  • Maintain accurate and up to date customer data relating to territory in the Company’s CRM system as directed
  • Record lost sales opportunities
  • Purchase stock and non-stock items to support sales orders within approved authority level

Purchasing/Inventory

  • Purchase stock and non-stock items to support sales orders within approved authority level
  • Suggest purchasing recommendations for stock

Health, Safety & Environment

  • Behave in a manner that doesn’t compromise on safety and assist other team members to do the same.
  • Contribute to improving safety in the area.
  • Contribute to maintaining a high standard of 5S and housekeeping.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Technical background with 3 - 5 years’ experience in sales application support in industrial sector
  • A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent will be an advantage
  • Patience, customer oriented with good customer handling and communication skills
  • Well-organised and systematic with strong administrative skills
  • A team player, yet able to work independently
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Must be able to speak Thai language

Additional Information

Salary RM4,500 – RM5,500 to commensurate with experience.
