Job Description

Our client is listed in the category Shipping Agents in the Yalwa Business Directory. They involved with all aspects of the logistics industry and engage in transportation, shipping, forwarding of goods and the sales of oil palm fruits and cocoa beans. There are currently 12 business listed in the category Shipping Agents in Klang.

Currently in the expansion and seeking for talents to join the organization.

Position: Customer Service Clerk

Location: Jalan Tengku Bandar, Port Klang

Responsibilities:

  • Handle quotation, shipment arrangement, invoices and billing processing with customers and suppliers.
  • Preparation of import/export documentation – declaring and filing.
  • Submission of Forms
  • Liaising with customers on their import/export shipments
  • Data entry into Kastams system to declare shipments, customs duties, SST etc
  • Monitoring the sailing schedule and freight rate to related department.
  • To handle the trouble shoot any issued related with shipping independently.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates must possess at least a SPM / higher Secondary / STPM.
  • Min 1-2 year(s) working exp in related field (forwarding / shipping)
  • Basic logistics knowledge or customs procedures would be a plus
  • Computer literate (MS Excel & Ms Word)
  • Female & Open Race (Malaysian)
  • Able to Speak English & Bahasa
  • Outstanding communication & good writing in English & Malay

Additional Information

  • Basic : RM 1,600 – RM 2,500
  • Mon –Fri ( 8.30am – 5.00pm ), Sat ( 8.30am – 1.00pm )
