Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Compile and maintain regulatory documentation databases or systems.
  • Coordinate efforts associated with the preparation of regulatory documents or submissions.
  • Submission of documents to relevant regulatory bodies (Halal, Health Dept, MIDA, Customs, MITI, etc).
  • Develop or conduct employee regulatory training.
  • Communicate with regulatory agencies regarding pre-submission strategies, potential regulatory pathways.
  • Escort government inspectors during inspections and provide post-inspection follow-up information as requested.
  • Interpret regulatory rules or rule changes and ensure that they are communicated through corporate policies and procedures.
  • Maintain current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documents. 
  • Participate in internal or external audits.
  • Prepare responses to customer requests for information, such as product data, written regulatory affairs statements, surveys, or questionnaires.
  • Any other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in handling regulatory matters is required for this position.
  • Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Proficient in IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • High level verbal & written communication skills
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
