Oversee and be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen.
Training and development of new and existing employees/students.
Produce high quality dishes following established recipes and standards.
Develop new recipes from time to time.
Prepare and cater food for parties/events as may be required.
Ensure that food is cooked and served in a timely fashion.
Ensure that food safety, cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistent with outlet requirements.
Administer, inspect and control stocks and inventory to minimize wastage.
Manage ordering and stock inventory appropriately.
Involve in the creative processes and suggest improvements for development of the kitchen and overall cafe.
Possess at least a Professional Certificate/Diploma/Advance Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in food preparation and cooking.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
Great interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
Familiar with industry's best practices.
Enjoy working with young people
Able to work in shifts, public holidays and weekends
