Job Description

  • Supports Executive Housekeeper to supervise for the day-to-day operations in Housekeeping Department.
  • Responsible for the efficient and orderly management of cleaning,
  • Responsible for the hotel linen and check its movement and its distribution to room attendants.
  • Check the VIP and OOO (out-of-order) rooms.
  • Provide the front office with a list of rooms ready for allotment to guests.
  • Constantly maintains a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the floors, public areas and linen room.
  • Carry out regular reviews and inspections to ensure the guest rooms, public areas and linen room are well maintained and meets the requirements.
  • Record keeping, keep inventory of all housekeeping supplies and check it regularly and maintain stock inventories
  • Arrangement of training for staff.
  • Ensure all staff understand and adhere the policies and procedures.
  • Able to perform to the highest possible standards and professionalism at all times.
  • Responsible for preparation of staff duty roster.

Job Requirements

  • Applicants must possess at least SPM or Certificate/Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • Relevant working experience in similar capacity or in the Hospitality industry.
  • Excellent service and customer oriented.
  • Mature personality, versatile in performing multi tasks.
  • Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Only applicable to Malaysian citizen and permanent resident of Malaysia.
