Job Description

Position Summary

Driving external and internal communication priorities for Realme in Malaysia to elevate the profile of the Company, its Products / Brands and Purpose amongst key stakeholders leveraging the most meaningful traditional / digital channels and platforms. Create significant share of market voice, and to continue branding efforts to create prevalence of Realme and its products.

Job Description

  1. Integrate knowledge from external and internal networks; multi-stakeholder insights; and understanding of business, competitive and industry priorities in the development and implementation of strategic communication plans that build, enhance, and reinforce the reputation of realme in the local market.
  2. Collaborate with Brand Manager on product priorities to amplify.
  3. To develop opportunities for sponsorships, partnerships that will enhance and support branding thus maximising market penetration and exposure through endorsement by third parties.
  4. Build personal rapport/connection with key stylists, fashion editors, influencers across various media (electronic/print/cinematic), to position the brand at their top of mind recall.
  5. Support in developing and implementing a strategic plan to communicate the Realme vision/mission, business strategy and organizational goals.
  6. Proactively monitor and identify potential business/category / brand-related issues and develop issues-management strategies.
  7. Developing and maintaining a close relationship with potential brands.
  8. Constructing high level strategic business plans and identifying new sources of growth.
  9. Negotiating deals with brands and curate for various campaigns, promotions, online marketing, and media as required.
  10. Securing exclusive partnerships for key campaigns.
  11. Working closely with Brand Manager to optimize the visibility and credibility of potential Brands

Job Requirements

  • A recognized degree in any field, coupled with at least 2 to 3 years of working experience. Experience in partnerships would be added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills (proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required)
  • Innovative problem-solving skills ; able to dissect and identify problems and implement solutions accordingly.
  • Team player with an aptitude for work and the drive to constantly outperform your KPIs
  • Excellent command of English & Mandarin
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Good understanding of digital and social platforms relevant to the market and industry
  • Ability to navigate in a collaborative work environment, to influence, align and deliver on strategic and tactical topics, at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain perspective and bring positive attitude and courage to partnership discussions
  • Professional maturity and ability to work effectively across levels, functions, regions and backgrounds.
