Job Description

  • Prepare journal entries in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies and ensuring entries are supported with appropriate documents. Such journal entries include accruals, prepayments, reclassifications, depreciation and intercompany entries.
  • Review ledger balances for anomalies and against expectations.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts (clearing account & intercompany), correct unreconciled items, investigate root cause and present findings and recommendation for management to act and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Assist in liaising with auditors for annual external audit activities.

Job Requirements

  1. Diploma (LCCI)/ degree in accounting or in related specialisation.
  2. 1-2 years working experience in general ledger accounting
  3. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a drive to execute/implement processes/controls
  4. Excellent communication skills. Enjoys collaborating and working in teams.
  5. Adept in Microsoft Excel
