Work with other management personnel to plan marketing, advertising, and any special restaurant functions.
Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees;
Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Maximizes bar profitability by ensuring portion control and monitoring accuracy of pouring measurements.
Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints concerning food quality and service.
Maintaining and demonstrating knowledge of the entire menu and its preparation.
Enforce F&B hygiene to comply with health and safety regulations at all times such as sanitary practices, general cleanliness, and maintenance of the floor section.
Review and monitor expenditures within the allocated budget.
Checking stock levels and ordering supplies for bar and restaurant disposables.
Organizing and supervising the shifts of kitchen crew, wait/bar staff, and cleaning staff.
Preferably able to start work almost immediately or in short notice.
Minimum of 5 years experience progressively responsible in F&B leadership role
