Job Description

  • Work with other management personnel to plan marketing, advertising, and any special restaurant functions.
  • Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees;
  • Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Maximizes bar profitability by ensuring portion control and monitoring accuracy of pouring measurements.
  • Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints concerning food quality and service.
  • Maintaining and demonstrating knowledge of the entire menu and its preparation.
  • Enforce F&B hygiene to comply with health and safety regulations at all times such as sanitary practices, general cleanliness, and maintenance of the floor section.
  • Review and monitor expenditures within the allocated budget.
  • Checking stock levels and ordering supplies for bar and restaurant disposables.
  • Organizing and supervising the shifts of kitchen crew, wait/bar staff, and cleaning staff.
  • Preferably able to start work almost immediately or in short notice.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience progressively responsible in F&B leadership role
