IT Lecturer/Senior IT Lecturer

• Has at least 3-5 year experience in the education industry and familiar with MQA / MQF framework.
• Ensure compliance and adherence to MQA accreditation requirement
• Ensure that student learning outcomes are being achieved
• Assist & contribute with the Curriculum Development Process
• Stay up-to-date with current education and industry trends, align curriculum with these trends and current workforce needs
• Actively involve in design and development of Online Educational courses
• Deliver lectures, tutorials and any teaching related assignments
• Prepare teaching & learning materials such as notes, study manuals and related resources
• Prepare, mark and moderate exam papers
• Review and update course guide and lesson plan
• Act as an invigilator for examinations (as assigned by the programme/institution)
• Provide consultations to students who need academic support.
• To support the programme in intervention initiatives for students who have failed their exams. 
• To act as advisors for student clubs and societies when needed
• Advise and mentor students in research and other class-related projects.
• Actively contribute to student experience and industry engagement activities or research activities
• Engage in activities to support the mission and vision of BAC Education Group
• To assist with marketing efforts by explaining the subject matter and the benefits of the course when needed
• Other duties and projects as assigned

• Master’s/Phd qualification in Information Technology / Computer Science or a related field
• Demonstrate ability to lead the development of new courses in the relevant IT and Computer Science disciplines and to lead and manage staff to deliver innovative course design.

        - Web Application Programming

        - Integrative Programming

        - Cloud Computing and Virtualisation

        - Internet of Things

•  Demonstrate strong knowledge in Programming (Java, Python & R programming), Web Programming (JavaScript, PHP, back-end programming) with particular emphasis on data-intensive systems and cloud platforms, data analytics and mining and programming technologies.
• Excellent strategic, analytical and conceptual skills, together with the proven ability to devise and implement strategic plans in a complex organisational environment
