Job Description

Supports day-to-day academic affairs and operations for the BAC Education Group and BAC Singapore’s School of Business (the School) programmes assigned to. Assist to lead the School to achieve its vision, fulfill its mission and develop its educational agenda and strategies necessary.

Organizing (50%)

Execute daily operational activities of the school.

Leading (30%)

Lead operational decision-making, and communicate with inter and intra departmental stakeholders.

Controlling (20%)

Devise systems and/or processes that ensure quality control and assurance.

Key Responsibilities & accountabilities

1.       Resource allocation.

2.       Marketing initiatives.

3.       Student enrolment.

4.       Implement OBE practices in the school.

5.       Explore partnerships to build school’s network for recruitment

Job Requirements

Job competencies:

1.       Able to identify teaching and learning resources and organise school’s daily operations.

2.       Develop marketing programmes to support the Sales Department.

3.       Support student recruitment activities through road shows, open days and counselling.

4.       Proficient with regulatory policies and processes and ensures compliance at the school level.

5.       Resourceful in developing external partnerships to create feeder channels for the school’s programmes.

6.       Work cooperatively with others, seeking others’ involvement and feedback.

7.       Demonstrate strong project management skills.

8.       Provide leadership and ensure the delivery of the School.

9.       Work closely with the Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer in formulating strategy, governance, financial management and deliver an outstanding and responsive academic and business strategy for the School.

10.   Ensure that the set up and all activities of the School are conducted to the highest possible standards of integrity and transparency and are aligned with its strategic goals.

11.   Ensure that the School provides a progressive curriculum which is accessible to students of all abilities.

12.   Review the School’s educational provisions and ensure they meet the requirements of the relevant internal and external stakeholder and that it exhibits high quality teaching and learning.

13.   Review of the schedule – timetables for the intakes – managing the lesson planning  and lecturers for the School Cohorts.

14.   Managing student welfare in general for the School programme.

15.   Review and manage the coursework cycle, preparations for the examinations/internal exam board/external exam board meetings.

16.   Lecturing across the Group for subjects assigned.

17.   Assist with Marketing and Sales Activities.

Any other duties to be assigned by the Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer.
