MAFM was established in 2005 to enhance facilities management service delivery. To achieve this objective, MAFM reached out to all the stakeholders in the FM fraternity to co-operate and collaborate to set competencies standards for FM practitioners and for the service providers. All the years of laying the foundation has produced results. The registration of FM service providers is now regulated by CIDB which requires FM companies to employ minimum number of FM executives who are certified FM Executives and Managers by CIDB.
