RASMA is a multifaceted engineering services company with 5 core business sectors. It is one of the longest standing Bumiputra Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (M&E) contractors in the market, with projects spanning Hospitals, Training Centers, Railway and Property Developmet. With over twenty years of track record, it is unparalleled in its breadth and depth of projects in Malaysia. RASMA's business areas can be broken down into five key sectors :-
1. M&E
RASMA started operations in 1992 as a M&E contractor, providing turnkey solutions to variety of clients including JKR, Ministry of Sports and Ministry of Health. RASMA's long track record include HUKM, IKBN Penawar, Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh, University Hospital and others. This is our core capability and RASMA has several other M&E projects in our pipe line. 2. RAILWAYThe government has earmarked the development and expansion of the rail industry as an important infrastructure project for Malaysia in the next 15-20 years. RASMA is venturing into the rail industry by strategically collaborating with leading organisations and companies in the area of human capital development, education & training, supply and engineering maintenance, repair and organization (MRO) and systems integration, We are currently involved in the implementation of the Automatic Fare Collection Systems for MRT2.
3. PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT
A natural progression from our core expertise in the areas of Mechanical & Electrical and Civil & Building engineering is property development. RASMA has identified a number of potential projects to be developed ie: high end condominiums, affordable homes, commercial buildings etc. RASMA is on the lookout for other land deals and are open to land sales or joint venture projects.
4. LIFTS AND ESCALATORS
Subsidiary Sword Elevator (M) Sdn Bhd, RASMA launched its lift division in 2015 under its subsidiary elevator. Sword Elevator (M) Sdn Bhd has an exclusive agency agreement with Sword China, one of the largest local lift manufacturers based out of Hangzhou. Sword China manufactures about 40,000 lifts annually. Current projects include Prime Minister's Office Parcel B, Parliament Extension, Country Garden Danga Bay and Forest City.
5. MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
This is another recent additional to RASMA's business model. We are currently supplying to Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh and bidding for several other hospitals.
