JOBSBAC provides a service to bring Job Seekers and Employers (hereinafter regarded as User) together. Job Seekers can register, create profiles and search for jobs. Employers can register, create profiles, job posts and search for jobs and resumes.

Job Seeker personal data will be available to Employers visiting JOBSBAC. Personal data includes all data provided by both Employers and Job Seekers including all data fields which are mandatory and/or optional.

3.1       Personal data provided by the User may be used by JOBSBAC to notify the User of any news, and/or promotional offers relating only to the JOBSBAC website. The User can unsubscribe from these notifications at any time.

3.2       When you register with JOBSBAC for any of the JOBSBAC Services, you will be asked each time to provide certain personal information about yourself in order to create a User account.

3.3       The personal information collected during the registration process includes but is not limited to your company registration number, email address, name, nationality, identity card number and/or passport number, country of residence.

3.4       Whenever the personal information requested by JOBSBAC is marked as “Required Field”, you must provide and agree to the processing of this personal information by JOBSBAC. If you do not agree to provide this personal information and/or do not agree to us processing it in the manner set out herein, then JOBSBAC will be unable to provide the relevant services to you and your application for such services will be rejected.

3.5       We collect personal information directly from you when you choose to engage any of the JOBSBAC Services and/or to use the JOBSBAC Website. The following are examples of personal information JOBSBAC may collect directly from you:-

i.          Name;
ii.         Age;
iii.        Date of birth;
iv.        Telephone number or mobile number;
v.         Your image;
vi.        Academic qualifications;
vii.       Identification documents given by the school/college/university/institute;
viii.      Resume;
ix.        Personal interests and preferences;
x.         Working experience;
xi.        Credit card or debit card details;
xii.       Other information associated with a resume for job applications.

3.6       If you choose to add referees to your JOBSBAC Profile this information will be enclosed as part of your job application and employers may contact them to get references for your applications.

3.7       If you wish to stop JOBSBAC from processing this type of personal information about you, JOBSBAC will no longer be able to provide the relevant services to you.

3.8       In addition, JOBSBAC may ask your permission to post your testimonial or success story. If you agree to post your material on JOBSBAC Website, you should be aware that any personal information you submit can be read, collected, or used by other users of the JOBSBAC Website and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, please click “Contact Us” on the JOBSBAC Website.

4.         WEBSITE USE
The user is required to provide truthful information in their profile or job post. It is prohibited to use any text or images from JOBSBAC for personal or commercial use.

4.1       Purposes of Collecting and Use of Personal Information

A.        The purposes for which JOBSBAC processes your personal information are as follows:-

i.          To verify your identity;
ii.         To assess and/or verify your employability and credit worthiness;
iii.        To provide the please click on the “Contact Us” on the JOBSBAC Website Services which you have requested;
iv.        To administer and manage the please click on the “Contact Us” on the JOBSBAC Website Services provided to you;
v.         To contact you in respect of please click on the “Contact Us” on the JOBSBAC Website Services;
vi.        To facilitate the provision to you of tailored educational offerings and improve your career prospects by supplying your information to our strategic partners;
vii.       To improve placement opportunities for you or for tailoring specific services to you;
viii.      To verify your academic and professional qualification by contacting the school / college / university / institute / professional qualifying bodies;
ix.        To contact the referee and/or the guarantor whom details have been provided by you;
x.         To process your order for the JOBSBAC Services which you have requested;
xi.        To investigate and resolve any of the JOBSBAC Services, billing queries if any, complaints or other enquiries that you submit to JOBSBAC regarding JOBSBAC Services;
xii.       To manage staff training and quality assurance;
xiii.      To monitor and improve the performance of the JOBSBAC Website and the JOBSBAC Services;
xiv.      To maintain and develop the JOBSBAC Website and JOBSBAC Services;
xv.       To gain an understanding of your information and communication needs in order for JOBSBAC to enhance and customize the JOBSBAC Services;
xvi.      To conduct research and development and statistical analysis in connection with the JOBSBAC Services to identify trends and develop new services that reflect your interests;
xvii.     To assist JOBSBAC in understanding your browsing preferences on the JOBSBAC Website so that JOBSBAC can tailor content accordingly;
xviii.    To detect and prevent fraudulent activity.

B.        You are not able to limit the processing of your personal information for the purposes set out hereinabove. If you do not consent to JOBSBAC processing your personal information for the said purposes, you must terminate your relevant agreement with JOBSBAC for the JOBSBAC Services and stop using the JOBSBAC Website.

4.2       In addition, JOBSBAC may use your personal information for the following purposes:-

i.          To promote and market to you;

(a) Other JOBSBAC Services; or

(b) Services of third parties which JOBSBAC thinks may be of   interest of you;
ii.         To send you seasonal greeting messages and/or message informing you of a critical performance error in the JOBSBAC Website and/or the JOBSBAC Services;
iii.        To send you tips, advice and survey information to maximize your career development including but not limited to using the JOBSBAC Services and/or the JOBSBAC Website;
vi.        JOBSBAC will ask for your consent before processing your personal information other than those set out hereinabove in Clause 4.1 & 4.2.

4.3       JOBSBAC Profile

4.3.1   JOBSBAC gives you the option of putting your JOBSBAC Profile in the JOBSBAC Resume Database provided that you use JOBSBAC’s preset format for uploading your information. There are two ways of doing so:-            You can store your JOBSBAC Profile in the JOBSBAC Resume Database, but not allow it to be searchable by potential Employers or Advertisers. Not allowing your JOBSBAC Profile to be searchable means that you can use it to apply for a job online, but Employers or Advertisers will not have access to search it through the JOBSBAC Resume Database;            You can allow your JOBSBAC Profile to be searchable by Employers or Advertisers. When you opt to make your JOBSBAC Profile searchable, your full profile, resume and personal information will be visible to Employers or Advertisers who can download your JOBSBAC Profile from JOBSBAC Resume Database;

4.3.2   JOBSBAC uses its best effort to restrict access to the Resume Database only to those who have subscribed to the JOBSBAC Services, these parties may retain a copy of your JOBSBAC Profile in their own files or databases;

4.3.3   JOBSBAC will take reasonable steps to ensure that parties other than those mentioned above will not, without JOBSBAC’s consent, gain access to the JOBSBAC Resume Database. However, JOBSBAC is not responsible for the retention or use of JOBSBAC Profile by any third parties;

4.3.4   Notwithstanding Clause 4.3, JOBSBAC reserves the right to have full access to your JOBSBAC Profile for the purpose set out hereinabove to perform JOBSBAC Services.

4.4       To Whom Personal Information Is Disclosed

Personal information mentioned herein above may be disclosed to the classes of third parties as follows in order for JOBSBAC to effectively manage its business including to render the JOBSBAC Services to you to achieve the purposes described herein:-

4.4.1   The Advertisers;

4.4.2   The Employers;

4.4.3   Third parties contracted by JOBSBAC to assist JOBSBAC in delivering all or part of the JOBSBAC Services to you, including without limitation, to the following:-            Payment gateway services for optional services;            Profiling/assessment services;            Online advertising services;            Mapping services;            Maintenance and repair services; and            Market research and website usage analysis services.

4.4.4   Strategic partners that work with JOBSBAC to provide the JOBSBAC Services or that help market and promote JOBSBAC Services and/or JOBSBAC Website;

4.4.5   Strategic partners that provide ancillary services such as education offerings for the purposes of improving your career prospects and/or professional qualifications.

4.4.6   The school/college/university/institute you studied at and your referees so as to verify your academic qualification;

4.4.7   Professional qualifying bodies where you obtained your accreditation;

4.4.8   Regulatory bodies, governmental bodies or other authorities if required or authorized to do so to discharge any regulatory function, under any law or in relation to any order or judgment of a court;

4.4.9   Regulatory bodies, governmental bodies or other authorities for the purpose of detection or prevention of crime, illegal/unlawful activities or fraud or for the apprehension or prosecution of offenders, or for an investigation relating to any of these;

4.4.10 Any party involved in or related to a legal proceeding (or prospective legal proceeding), for purposes of the legal proceedings;

4.4.11 JOBSBAC’s professional advisors on a need to know basis for the purpose of those advisors providing advice to JOBSBAC;

4.4.12 Any third party which acquires all or part of the assets or business of JOBSBAC (including accounts and trade receivables) for the purpose of that third party continuing to provide all or that part of the JOBSBAC Services which it acquired; and

4.4.13 Any party otherwise permitted under any data protection legislation.

4.5       Other than set out above, you will receive notice when personal information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

4.6       JOBSBAC does not sell or rent any personal information collected to any other parties.

5.1       You are responsible for providing accurate, not misleading, complete and up-to-date information to JOBSBAC about yourself and any other person whose personal information you provide us and for updating this personal information as and when it becomes inaccurate, misleading, incomplete and out-of date by clicking “Contact Us” on the JOBSBAC Website.

5.2       In the circumstances you may need to provide to JOBSBAC an employer/advertiser or post in your Resume profile on JOBSBAC personal information about someone other than yourself (for example, your referee or guarantor). If so, we rely on you to inform these individual that you are providing their personal information to JOBSBAC or the employer/advertiser, to make sure they consent to you giving us or the employer/advertiser their information and to advise them about where they can find a copy of this Privacy Policy.

6.1 It may be necessary for JOBSBAC to transfer your personal information outside of your local jurisdiction if any of JOBSBAC’s service providers or strategic partners (“overseas entities”) is involved in providing part of the JOBSBAC Services.

The JOBSBAC Website may contain links to third party sites.

7.1       JOBSBAC is not responsible for such third party sites. Any personal information made available by you on such sites will not have the benefit of this Privacy Policy and will be subject to the relevant third party’s privacy policy (if any).

8.         YOUR CONSENT
8.1       In using the JOBSBAC Services and/or the JOBSBAC Website, you consent to the collection and use of the personal information by JOBSBAC in the ways described hereinabove (which may change from time to time) unless and until you inform JOBSBAC to the contrary.

8.2       Further, you consent to your referees, the school/college/university/institute where you have studied, the professional qualifying bodies where you received your accreditation and Employers to disclose your personal information to JOBSBAC.

9.1       JOBSBAC does not hold responsibility for any untruthful and/or inaccurate information included in job posts and profiles. JOBSBAC reserves the right to edit or delete any information submitted by the User to this website.

10.       LIABILITY
10.1    JOBSBAC will not be responsible for any loss or damage the user may encounter from using this website.

11.1    When you visit any JOBSBAC Website our web servers automatically collect information about your visit to these website, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, the time, date and duration of your visit your IP address is a unique identifier for your computer or other access device.
