Budget & Cost Controller (Executive)

RM3,000 - RM5,000 monthly

Job Description

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Club’s cost and profit analysis.

  • Produce timely inventory and cost control management reports to support decision-making.

  • Work with the F&B department and store to develop SOPs, analyze beverage costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

  • Oversee the Sport Section accounts and manage cash flow.

  • Supervise inventory counts and assess inventory management processes and controls.

  • Review journal entries and assist with budget and project preparation.

  • Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors, tax agents, internal auditors, and bankers.

  • Monitor and analyze departmental operating costs to identify trends, variances, and potential savings.

  • Ensure accurate costing of food, beverage, and event-related items.

  • Conduct periodic cost variance analyses and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Support management in implementing cost control measures to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

Job Requirements

 

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 5+ years costing experience (preferably similar industry)
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Responsible, proactive, able to work under pressure
  • Positive attitude & team player
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • ACCA/CIMA/MIA is an added advantage
