Job Description

The Student Counsellor provides guidance, support, and advice to prospective and current students regarding academic programmes, admissions, and student-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel prospective students on available programmes, entry requirements, and career pathways.

  • Handle student enquiries via walk-ins, calls, emails, and online platforms.

  • Support students through the admission and enrolment process.

  • Maintain accurate student records and follow up on applications.

  • Work closely with academic and administrative teams to support student needs.

  • Participate in education fairs, open days, and marketing activities when required.

  • Provide basic guidance on student issues and refer complex matters when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Student-oriented, patient, and approachable personality.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, student systems).
