Job Description: 

  • Produce well-researched, high-quality content for publication online and in print 
  • Organise writing schedules to deliver drafts and final projects within deadlines 
  • Utilise industry best practices and align with BAC Education’s mission to inspire ideas and content 
  • Collaborate closely with the Content Team, Heads of School, designers and web publishers 
  • Follow an editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of materials 
  • Develop related content across multiple platforms, including websites, email marketing, WhatsApp marketing, brochures, course pages, social media, video scripts, blogs and more 
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to suggest content improvements 
  • Apply search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies to maximise online visibility and rankings 
  • Adapt tone and messaging for different institutions under the BAC Education Group 

What We’re Looking For 

  • A proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio 
  • An impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions 
  • The ability to write in different tones - persuasive, informative, corporate, conversational 
  • Attention to detail and meticulousness. Must be able to proofread & fact-check to ensure content is free of grammatical errors, factual inaccuracies, and inconsistencies. 
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital content strategy 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to collaborate with colleagues, management and stakeholders 
  • The ability to manage multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously 
  • Strict adherence to style guides and publication policies 
  • Excellent time management skills as you must be able to prioritise, schedule and adapt quickly 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint 
  • Familiarity with brand positioning, audience segmentation and multi-brand environments 

Job Requirements

Computer Literacy 

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for drafting, reporting and presentations  
  • Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress) to upload and format web content  
  • Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar) for research support, ideation, drafting assistance and workflow efficiency — with the ability to fact-check and refine outputs responsibly 
  • Basic SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush or similar) to track performance  
  • Canva or basic design tools (advantageous)  
  • Comfortable using shared drives and collaboration tools 

Soft Skills 

  • Strong communication skills. Must be able to write clearly and persuasively for different audiences. 
  • Creativity with strategic thinking to produce engaging content aligned with marketing goals. 
  • Critical thinking skills, research-driven and able to structure ideas logically. 
  • Time management to manage multiple deadlines and projects effectively. 
  • Collaboration skills to work well with marketers, designers, academics and management. 
  • Adaptability to adjust tone across different brands and campaigns. 
  • Emotional intelligence & audience understanding to craft messages that resonate with students, parents, and corporate partners.  
  • Attention to detail – Strong proofreading and adherence to brand guidelines.
