LOGISTIC MANAGER (PAHANG BASED)

We are looking for a gritty, highly driven Logistics Manager to take full ownership of our daily logistics coordination, fleet dispatch, and field operational accuracy. This is a hands-on role requiring a leader who spends less time behind a desk and more time ensuring our trucks are moving efficiently. The ideal candidate must have deep experience managing drivers, handling heavy vehicles to ensure crop freshness and transport continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily dispatches, collection routes, and crop evacuation to minimize vehicle turnaround times.
• Monitor driver progress in real time; instantly resolve breakdowns, labor shortages, or field access issues.
• Maintain high discipline and accountability among drivers, ensuring full compliance with road safety and transport regulations.
• Monitor fuel consumption, driver overtime, and 3PL transporter rates to minimize unnecessary operating expenses.
• Maintain precise records of all logistics activities (including weighbridge data and delivery transactions); submit brief daily/weekly summaries to management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5–10 years of solid, hands-on experience in logistics coordination or transport operations.
• Strong preference for candidates with direct experience in plantation logistics, heavy fleet operations.
• Diploma or SPM / STPM with relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with basic transport tracking, GPS applications, or simple smartphone-based fleet communication tools.
• Able to handle intense daily pressure, driver issues, and sudden logistical challenges calmly and quickly.
• A practical, street-smart approach to overcoming daily operational hiccups without needing constant supervision.
• Candidate must be willing to be based in Pahang.
