Job Description

Overview

Process Level 1 (PL1) Assessment Executive (AE) is responsible for the Pre-U programmes within the Assessment Department. The primary responsibilities cover the Pre-Exam and During-Exam phases, ensuring operational readiness, proper coordination, and documentation accuracy. The AE reports directly to the department’s Assistant Manager, with audit oversight by the Head of Department.

Pre-Exam Responsibilities

  • Coordinate exam timetabling with the Programme Office.
  • Manage Cambridge A Level exam registration.
  • Manage exam venue booking and seating allocation.
  • Receive final exam papers from the Programme Office.
  • Printing of question papers, MCQ sets, and other exam materials.
  • Generate attendance lists and Green Forms (Exam Day Summary Forms).
  • Assist the Programme Office in invigilation briefing, planning and scheduling.
  • Ensure availability and accuracy of all exam materials before the start of the exam.
  • Label and number exam venues appropriately ahead of each session.

During-Exam Responsibilities

  • Review attendance recording by invigilators and ensure proper documentation.
  • Manage exam startup logistics, including retrieval and distribution of exam papers and related materials.
  • Manage the Cambridge A Level examination.
  • Provide on-site support during exams to address immediate operational needs.
  • Coordinate and report any incidents, or malpractice cases to Senior Executives and the Head of Department.
  • Ensure all scripts and MCQ answer sheets are sealed, labeled, and returned securely after each session.
  • Scan all MCQ answer sheets and upload it into exam server.
  • Provide daily exam progress updates to department’s Senior Executives for PL2 handover.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain adequate stock count for exam materials including A4 papers.
  • Maintain, safe keep and distribute Cambridge A Level certificates
  • Attend to student and faculty enquiries.
  • Attend to other tasks as instructed by the Head of Department.

Job Requirements

  • A degree/ diploma in related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a similar role or position.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to work independently with tight deadlines.
  • Meticulous with an eye for details
