Job Description

  • Prepare and lodge statutory documents in compliance with the Companies Act 2016.

  • Draft directors’ and shareholders’ resolutions, minutes of meetings, and other secretarial documents.

  • Maintain and update statutory registers and records.

  • Handle incorporation of companies, changes in company particulars (e.g. directors, shareholders, registered office, business nature), and striking off/dissolution procedures.

  • Liaise with SSM (Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia) and other relevant government authorities on secretarial matters.

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements.

  • Attend to and liaise with clients on all company secretarial matters and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Assist with any ad hoc tasks or assignments as required by the management.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Corporate Administration, Law, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in a corporate secretarial role.

  • Good knowledge of the Companies Act 2016 and company secretarial procedures in Malaysia.

  • Proficient in written and spoken Mandarin (essential) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.

  • Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Candidates who are pursuing or have completed ICSA will have an added advantage.
