Manager, Business Development

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business growth strategies focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction, in line with the company’s corporate objectives.

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer needs.

  • Promote and present the company’s products, services, and investment opportunities professionally to individual clients and groups.

  • Lead, negotiate, and close business deals while maintaining positive client relationships.

  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts and agreements in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Provide leadership, task delegation, and performance management to team members to ensure effective execution of business plans.

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets set by the company.

  • Manage, motivate, and monitor agents and agencies, providing continuous support and guidance.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue, client data, and market feedback.

  • Provide timely, reliable feedback and after-sales support to clients and stakeholders.

  • Address and resolve customer and stakeholder enquiries promptly, adhering to the company’s 24-hour response policy.

  • Conduct product, investment, and business development training sessions for agents, clients, and internal staff.

  • Plan, monitor, and evaluate training effectiveness, including retraining when necessary.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role. Experience in team leadership is an added advantage.

  • Strong track record of achieving sales and business growth targets.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in customer service and after-sales support is a plus.

  • Good time management, organizational, and planning skills.

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a relevant field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin. Proficiency in other Mandarin dialects is an added advantage.
