Job Description

  • Draft bankruptcy cause papers and related documents like proof of debt forms, letters to court etc.
  • Maintain and update case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness at all times.
  • Assist lawyers in managing bankruptcy cases, including court deadlines and correspondence.
  • Monitor case progress and notify relevant parties of important dates or requirements.
  • Provide training or guidance to junior clerks or support staff as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or equivalent.
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in handling bankruptcy cases.
  • Strong knowledge of bankruptcy procedures, court rules, and filing requirements.
  • Proficient in legal software, case management systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Able to work in a team.
