Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management
· Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter).
· Monitor analytics and engagement metrics to optimize reach and impact.
· Develop creative campaigns to highlight chamber initiatives, events, and member activities.
· Ensure brand consistency and professional tone across all postings.
2. Event Support
· Assist in planning, promoting, and executing chamber events (conferences, networking
· sessions, workshops).
· Coordinate logistics such as registration, venue setup, and materials preparation.
· Provide on-site support during events, including welcoming guests and managing live social media coverage.
3. Trade Relations Exposure
· Support chamber initiatives that promote bilateral and multilateral trade relations.
· Assist in preparing briefing notes, reports, or social media content related to trade and investment opportunities.
· Gain insight into Canadian business interests across diverse regions and industries.
4. Business Acumen Development
· Engage directly with chamber members, corporate partners, and stakeholders across
· multiple industry sectors.
· Participate in meetings, networking sessions, and roundtables to understand industry
· challenges and opportunities.
· Build practical knowledge of market entry strategies, regulatory environments, and cross-cultural business practices.
· Contribute ideas to strengthen member engagement and chamber programming.
5. General Chamber Support
· Contribute to newsletters, press releases, and member communications.
· Support membership engagement activities, including outreach and recruitment.
· Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
